The Iowa City Book Festival, presented by the University of Iowa Libraries, is a three-day celebration of books, reading and writing Friday, July 13 through Sunday, July 15. The street fair will be on Saturday, July 14 with booksellers and other vendors on Capitol Street in downtown Iowa City.

MWC Press is a small literary press affliated with MWC, a regional writing center that provides support and education to writers. Other MWC local authors will also be represented at the Iowa City Book Festival including Sheri Grutz, Salvatore Marici, Larry Rinney, and Jane VanVooren Rogers among others. Sheri Grutz will be reading from her self-published book of poems, This Sky I Know, a book about her life as a human test subject by the U.S. at the Lichtenberger Engingeering Library on at 12:00 noon.
