She is also the author of Tom’s Tweet (Knopf), named to the 2013-2014 Iowa Goldfinch list; Stanza (HMHarcourt), a 2012-2013 Young Hoosiers Book Award nominee; Ste-e-e-e-eamboat A-Comin’! (Farrar, Straus & Giroux), an IRA Notable Children’s Book; To the Big Top (FSG), named to the CCBC’s Choices List; and others. Five more of her books will be published in 2014.
